This workshop is for anyone who has been diagnosed with Type II Diabetes or anyone who is interested in learning about the condition, either for preventative purposes or for information to help an affected family member. In a safe and open group setting, participants will learn how to control their Diabetes with healthy eating and activity, manage their medication, and prevent other health conditions related to Diabetes.
Many patients report that they find the group setting beneficial, as they are exposed to everyday people just like them who are also coming to terms with a recent diagnosis. Diabetes can be a very manageable condition, as long as you empower yourself to adopt the healthy changes necessary to succeed.
