The Wood Buffalo PCN has partnered with Edmonton-based dermatologist Dr. Jaggi Rao to make specialized dermatology services available to residents of our community right here in Fort McMurray.

Because Dr. Rao is a specialist, patients require a referral from their family physician in order to consult with him.

Please note that the WB PCN’s Dermatology Services are available to patients in need of medically-necessary dermatological care only.  We do not provide any form of aesthetic care or consultation.

Depending on your unique care needs, triage of your Wood Buffalo PCN dermatology referral may indicate a teledermatology appointment with Dr. Jaggi Rao. You will be contacted by the Wood Buffalo PCN reception staff, who will provide further information regarding your booking. The reception staff will ask that you review the following information in order to ensure your teledermatology appointment flows as smoothly as possible:

• Visit www.consultderm.net and select “New Rao Dermatology Patient”
• Leave Physician set to Dr. Rao
• Complete all information throughout online form (demographic information, pharmacy information, details regarding dermatological concern, and upload photo)
• Review Statement of Authenticity and check if in agreement
• Click send

You will then receive a call from Dr. Rao at your scheduled appointment time.
